Are you a writer or illustrator for under-18s in need of some quiet time — away from it all to work on your next project?
Then this is for you!
From the May Gibbs Children's Literature Website
Applications are now open for The May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust 2019 Creative Time Residential Fellowships which provides you with accommodation, local support, and travel to and from one of our three host cities – Adelaide, Canberra or Brisbane.
Just think… 28 nights rent-free accommodation in Adelaide, Canberra or Brisbane to give you the time and the freedom to research, develop, or edit your new work.
Some CTR fellows will spend the entire month working on their creative project quietly alone; some may have a mentorship component to their CTR fellowship; some may be provided with paid speaking, teaching and promotional activities by a MGCLT partner; and others may arrange their own speaking, teaching and/or promotional activities.
All work is paid at rates based on Australian Society of Authors rates and occupies no more than 15 hours of a four-week residency.
If this resonates deeply with you then it’s time to apply.
For application details, contact Polly Hamer, Fellowships Coordinator at [email protected]
Completed applications must be received by 11.59pm Monday 30 April 2018.
